Director of Clinical Strategy
Renee Chang has been a nurse for over 17 years. Renee started her career as a Pediatric Trauma and Critical Care RN and transitioned into roles that not only improve patient outcomes, but advance the healthcare industry. Throughout her tenure and various roles, one thing remains constant: her desire to improve the lives of others.
In 2017, Renee joined the Continental Benefits team as a Clinical Consultant and now serves as the Director of Clinical Strategy. In this role, Renee focuses on developing and integrating Population Health programs that will work closely with prospective and existing clients in delivering custom solutions that increase health outcomes, quality of life, member satisfaction, and cost reduction. Renee is passionate about the use of data analytics and science to better understand populations and how to engage Continental Benefits’ members on a path to better health.
Prior to joining Continental Benefits, Renee worked at Moffitt Cancer Center helping to develop Oncology Clinical Pathways. Pathways are another vehicle for population health management as they reduce the waste and spend in care delivery. Renee was part of a team that implemented the very first EMR Oncology Pathways with Cerner at Moffitt. Renee also has experience in nursing informatics and implementing lean health care solutions for process improvement.
